چکیده

Fundus images are critical data to record visual health and play an important role in the diagnosis of ocular diseases. Therefore, protecting the copyrights of those valuable data becomes an important issue in telemedicine applications where fundus images are exchanged across different hospitals and medical institutes. In this paper, a novel lossless fingerprinting-watermarking hybrid scheme is proposed for the digital right management (DRM) of fundus images. In our hybrid scheme, the features with strong distinguishability and robustness are extracted from fundus images as fingerprints for content-based retrieval. And then the relationships between the fingerprints and the watermark are established following the zero watermarking manner for the copyright identification. Our experiment results demonstrate that the proposed scheme can identify copyright ownership of different fundus images precisely and reliably without ownership dispute or image distortion.

A Modified Digital Image Watermarking Scheme Based on Nonnegative Matrix Factorization

This paper presents a modified digital image watermarking method based on nonnegative matrix factorization. Firstly, host image is factorized to the product of three nonnegative matrices. Then, the centric matrix is transferred to discrete cosine transform domain. Watermark is embedded in low frequency band of this matrix and next, the reverse of the transform is computed. Finally, watermarked ...

Effective management of medical information through ROI-lossless fragile image watermarking technique

In this article, we have proposed a blind, fragile and Region of Interest (ROI) lossless medical image watermarking (MIW) technique, providing an all-in-one solution tool to various medical data distribution and management issues like security, content authentication, safe archiving, controlled access retrieval, and captioning. The proposed scheme combines lossless data compression and encrypti...

Counterfeiting Attack on a Lossless Authentication Watermarking Scheme

This paper describes an effective attack on a lossless authentication watermarking scheme [Fridrich et. al 2001]. Given sufficient number of pairs of stego-images and its coverimages, an attacker can obtain the data (e.g., random walk sequence, lookup table) generated from a secret key. With these data, the attacker can easily forge authentic images. The experiment demonstrates this attack is v...
